REQUIREMENTS FROM EMPLOYERS 

(a) For Local Caregivers

Carelink’s fee to the employer for permanent placement is $ 300.00 Canadian dollars plus GST. This will cover:
· An initial placement fee of $100.00 which initiates the documentation and search for a caregiver (home care aide or nanny) in the Carelink data base and online service.
· Match employer’s needs with caregivers’ skills set and experience.
· Forward applications of those who only meet employer’s family needs.
· This process will continue until a match is made for up to a period of 12 months or which ever comes first.
· Final decision is between the employer and the applicant.
· A deposit of 50% ($100.00 Canadian dollars plus GST) of the fee is required if employment will not start within two weeks following the job offer.
· The full placement fee of $100.00 is required the day when employment commenced.

(b) For Overseas Caregivers

Carelink’s fee to the employer for an overseas caregiver is $500.00 Canadian dollars plus GST. An initial placement fee of $100.00 is required. See (a) for above services for local caregivers. A 50% deposit ($200.00) is required upon selection of the applicant. The remaining balance of $200.00s due on the day the caregiver arrives and commences employment. Fees are non-refundable. (c) If the search for a caregiver (locally or overseas) requires specialized skills (for example, qualified driver, caregiver for physically challenged individuals), a surcharge of an additional $100.00 Canadian dollars will apply.
