CAREGIVER FEES & SERVICES
(a) Carelink's initial fee to the caregiver for permanent
placement is $100.00 Canadian dollars (US dollars
if outside of Canada). This initial fee allows the
applicant (homecare worker, elder care worker or nanny)
to submit their bio-data and application to Carelink,
which starts the search for an employer. Carelink
will also:
· Assist in matching the families in need of child or elder care to those applications submitted through Carelink's online service.
· Carefully search its database of employers and forward several caregivers' bio-data to the families. Only those applicants that meet the requested experience or training will be forwarded.
· Continue the search until a match is successfully made or for a period of 12 months whichever comes first.
(b) Carelink's total placement fee is $2,500.00 US dollars. This total final fee is due upon confirmation of successful match. It can be made in three payments, all in US dollars; the initial fee of $100.00, a second payment of $1,500.00 and a final payment of $900.00.
(c) When a match is found and final payment of $900.00 US is received, Carelink will:
· Provide the caregiver with a copy of the contract (mutually agreed upon between employer/caregiver prior to this stage of service), the job offer or job agreement, and confirmation and verification of the employer.
· Provide assistance with the negotiation of duties and responsibilities, hourly wages benefits, deductions, health insurance, living accommodations and days off.
· The caregiver will receive a kit from the embassy of their employer's residence that contains all the applications to be submitted by the caregiver. Carelink will assist in the completion of these forms.
· Offer one on one personal assistance to Philippine applicants. For other foreign countries, Carelink will offer assistance by online, mail or telephone.
